Sebastian Lowak GmbH has been operating in various sectors since 2004. Its main activities range from road construction, maintenance and repair to earthmoving, green area maintenance, and transport services.
The company has a modern fleet of machines that also enables it to provide snow removal services during the winter season. Its customer base is highly diversified and includes private clients, public entities, Bavarian castle and lake administration, agricultural and forestry businesses, Deutsche Bahn (German railways), the Bundeswehr (German armed forces), and industrial companies. In addition, on his own farm, Sebastian Lowak manages a horse breeding operation with around 75 horses.

“We are pleased to have purchased a top-of-the-range model: a FAE MTH/HP-225 equipped with the FCS water spray system,” says owner Sebastian Lowak. “The water spray system was particularly important for us. We intended to use the new FAE for very specific operations that generate a great deal of dust and cause tool overheating,” he continues. “The water spray system directly inside the crushing chamber is an optional feature that makes the job much easier: it reduces dust and counteracts tool overheating, extending tool life.”
Sebastian purchased his MTH from the dealer BayWa, a long-established German company that sells Fendt tractors as well. “The new MTH/HP-225 was immediately paired with our Fendt 942. We have several Fendt tractors and a well-equipped fleet that also includes trucks, trailers, excavators, graders, stone crushers, wheel loaders, and more. We like working with the most reliable brands, which is why we chose FAE.”

In August 2025, the customer used the machine for several projects in a gravel quarry. The MTH was first used for the repair of unpaved access roads to the quarry. This type of work is increasingly in demand, as the vehicles operating within quarries cause significant wear to access roads, affecting trafficability within the site. “Depending on the level of damage to the section of road we were called to repair, the working depth ranged between 15 and 25 cm. This depth can be easily set thanks to FAE’s variable geometry technology, which allows for precise control.”
“Within the same quarry, we also used the MTH for crushing and size reduction of an ultra-compact rock known as Nagelfluh,” Sebastian explains. Nagelfluh is a rock composed of river pebbles cemented together by calcareous material, originating from Alpine erosion. “In this quarry we encountered very compact Nagelfluh, impossible to crush using traditional methods. We succeeded only thanks to the MTH. The material resulting from the crushing process was then used as aggregate for concrete production and fill material.”
Finally, the customer provided his overall assessment of his new MTH/HP-225: “Everything went well. The MTH performed all operations effectively, and we plan to use it for all of our road repair and rock crushing activities. Soon, we will also use it for in-situ asphalt recycling,” Sebastian concludes.
