The new RPL/HY/MINI: an FAE road planer for 2–4 ton excavators.

FAE is expanding its Construction line for excavators with a new product range for the construction sector: the RPL/HY/MINI road planer for 2–4 ton vehicles.

This road planer for excavators uses “cold planer” technology to mill the road’s surface with specialized teeth or “picks.” Using an optimized tooth layout, this attachment increases performance and reduces vibrations.

The RPL/HY/MINI is designed to prepare road surfaces for the application of a new layer of asphalt or concrete, or to simplify excavation operations. It is especially suitable when precision is required, even in tight spaces.

The RPL/HY/MINI is compatible with 2-4 ton excavators, can mill to a depth of 9 cm, and has a working width of 25 cm. The head comes standard with state-of-the-art technological and structural features. Its wide-stroke self-leveling system enables proper head alignment during operation on uneven surfaces, while manual working depth adjustment provides operators with greater flexibility and control. The product line includes specialized teeth designed for different road surfaces: the R/44/A for asphalt and the R/44/C for concrete.

This new range joins the RPL/EX for 8–14 ton excavators and the RPL/HY for 5–8 ton excavators, further expanding FAE’s line of Construction products.
