The evolution of dirt and gravel roads from simple service roads to multi-purpose infrastructures for sports such as mountain biking, running and trekking, brings with it increasingly higher demands in terms of load-bearing properties and more frequent maintenance. Using FAE heads greatly simplifies the construction site, enabling quicker operating times and a drastic reduction in costs. Compared to traditional restoration, which involves scarification, followed by filling with the stabilized material, the use of FAE technology means that milling, stabilization, and the incorporation of any binding and stabilizing agents into the substrate can be performed in just one pass. The result is that dirt and gravel road maintenance is simpler and more effective than ever before.
