Florida Demo Days: FAE USA Showcases Performance and Partnerships at Florida Demo Days

Last month, FAE USA hosted its annual demo days in Williston, Florida, bringing together dealer representatives and prospective end users for two full days of hands-on equipment demonstrations and technical education. These demo events are designed to give attendees an up-close look at the performance, durability, and real-world capabilities of FAE equipment, while also fostering stronger relationships with FAE’s dealer network and customers. Leading the demo was Jeff Lopez, FAE’s Florida Territory Manager. Jeff expressed his enthusiasm about the demo and the opportunity to grow FAE’s presence in Florida. He said, “Florida’s demanding terrain management meets its match with FAE’s line up, and I am happy to spearhead the Sunshine State market.”

This specific demo was split across two days, each dedicated to a different carrier brand. Day one featured John Deere carriers, while day two highlighted Kubota carriers, allowing dealer representatives and customers to see FAE attachments paired with the machines they know best. Of this format, Jon Rakestraw, FAE Southeast Product Specialist, said, “With a different brand/dealer every day, FAE was able to focus on both the individual head-carrier pairing, as well as the differences in carrier performance under identical loads.”

The first day focused on John Deere machines and showcased a diverse lineup of FAE equipment. In addition to FAE’s own RCU75 tracked carrier, the demo roster included the BL1/EX excavator mulcher, the BL4/SSL skid steer mulcher, and the RCM/SSL skid steer rotary cutter.

Attendees also participated in a lunch-and-learn session, which provided practical, hands-on instruction. The session featured a step-by-step walkthrough of FAE’s proprietary Sonic calibration system, including how to set up and optimize the system using the FAE app. In addition, participants received instruction on proper tooth sharpening techniques, an essential practice for maintaining peak mulching performance and maximizing productivity in the field.

The day concluded on a high note with a group dinner at Spurrier’s Gridiron Grille. The evening offered a relaxed setting for conversation and networking and was made even more memorable when legendary football coach Steve Spurrier stopped by to greet the group and take photos with attendees.

Day two began bright and early with mulching demonstrations on Kubota carriers, drawing strong interest from Kubota dealer representatives and their customers. Guests watched the machines tackle challenging material and terrain, gaining a clear understanding of how FAE attachments perform when paired with Kubota platforms.

Like the first day, attendees took part in a dedicated lunch-and-learn session, reinforcing best practices and highlighting features that help operators get the most out of their equipment. Participants asked detailed questions and engaged directly with the FAE team, underscoring the value of seeing the machines in operation and learning from product experts on-site. Of the attendees, Jon said, “They were incredibly involved, both volunteering to operate the machinery and asking pertinent questions.” 

Jeff noted the impact of the demo, both on guests and staff. Of the event, he said, “Following the successful demonstration of FAE forestry mulchers on John Deere and Kubota equipment, the feedback has been phenomenal. The attachments and RCU75 remote control unit proved their industry-leading power and efficiency. I am excited and grateful to drive FAE’s growth in Florida by delivering unmatched land clearing solutions.”

This sentiment was reflected in attendee feedback. Dirk Frazel of Ag-Pro Hastings noted, “These demo days allow me to be much more comfortable selling your products to my new and existing customers as I can personally speak to the ease of use, the serviceability and the productivity of FAE mulchers. All of the questions that I asked during the demo were answered on the spot, and knowing that the FAE team is always a phone call away when any issues arise is peace of mind both from a dealer perspective and for the customer.”

Terry Bridgeman of Ag-Pro Saint Augustine echoed these comments, highlighting both the team and the equipment: “One of the biggest things that stood out to me was how knowledgeable everyone was about your products. I was very impressed with the confidence and authority that they spoke with. That shows that your organization is passionate about teaching and training its most valuable asset—its people. It seemed to me that your team is passionate about the industry and is willing to step out with the customer-first mindset. As far as the equipment that was there for us to demo, getting an opportunity to operate it gives us, as salespeople, a unique advantage when describing it as an option for our customers. I feel confident that the team at FAE would go above and beyond to take care of my customers. Earning trust is a difficult thing to do—FAE has mine.”

Overall, the Williston demo days successfully showcased FAE’s commitment to performance, education, and dealer support, leaving attendees with a stronger understanding of FAE solutions and greater confidence in their real-world capabilities.
