FAE is updating its range of tracked carriers with the new PT200, the BL4/PT forestry mulcher and the PT400, further expanding its offering for the most challenging applications in professional vegetation management..
The PT200, replacing the PT175, is powered by a 188 hp CAT C4.4 engine, paired with a hydraulic system that offers 230 L/min. at 350 bar. This tracked carrier has been designed for forestry work in all situations where agility, compact dimensions and high operating efficiency are required.
The PT200 can be equipped with the new BL4/PT forestry mulcher, which is capable of shredding material up to 30 cm in diameter. Thanks to its combination of Sonic and Bite Limiter technologies, the BL4/PT guarantees high productivity, powerful, efficient mulching, and top vegetation management performance in forests and wooded areas. The head is designed for durability, ease of maintenance and maximum operator support.
The PT200 can also be equipped with the 140/U/PT forestry mulcher, the 200/SC/PT stump cutter and the dozer blade.
The PT400 represents another step forward in performance: superior power with the compact dimensions of the PT300. Equipped with a 380 hp Cummins L9 engine, it offers a hydraulic capacity of 410 L/min. at 390 bar, making it ideal for forest and woodland management, and for the creation of firebreaks and interventions near utility infrastructure.
The PT400’s powerful engine, along with its modest operating weight, allows it to work effectively even on steep slopes and soft ground. The hydraulic system ensures reliability and efficiency, while the cab offers a level of comfort, ergonomics and operator safety without rival on the market.
The PT400 can be equipped with the 200/U/PT or 300/U/PT forestry mulchers, the 200/S/PT forestry tiller, the 300/SC/PT stump cutter, the SFM/PT multitask forestry head and the dozer blade.
While the PT200 replaces the PT175 model, the PT400 slots in above the PT300, providing a fourth option within FAE’s already robust tracked carrier lineup. The new PT200 and PT400 will be marketed in countries in which emission regulations align with Tier 4 Final – Stage V standards.
