FAE RPL/EX for 8 to 14 ton excavators
The RPL/EX is a road planer for excavators from 8 to 14 tons that mills down to 13,5 cm / 5.3 in deep. This road planer is ideal for preparing roads for resurfacing before laying a new layer of asphalt or concrete or for simplifying excavation operations. The hydraulically adjustable base allows you to manage the machine's working depth with precision. The wide stroke range of the excavator attachment's self-leveling system allows you to keep the head properly aligned while in operation. The line is completed with teeth specifically designed for asphalt and concrete road surfaces.
What are road planers? Road planers are machines that scarify road surfaces using cold planer technology. Cold planers gradually remove asphalt or concrete by scraping and cutting the road's surface with special teeth attached to a rotor. The layout of the RPL/EX teeth was specifically designed by FAE to increase performance and reduce vibration.
The RPL/EX is most useful when excavator maneuverability, flexibility, and precision are important, especially where there are narrow corners, sidewalks, or manholes.
